Background: retired educator with concentrations in history, psychology and economics, Christian educator and minister, including prison ministry, author of two self-published books, writer and director of “This Is My Beloved Son”, founder of Manna of Hope Resource Center in 2001Passions: educating the uninformed, inspiring the downtrodden, and empowering the challenged to identify their strengths and weaknesses and use this knowledge to make decisions that meet their particular needs and aspirationsRoles: direct day-to-day operations director, instructor of life skills classes at a cancer support group program and several senior housing sites, and serves as a consultant.

 

Margaret Williams
Licensed Professional Counselor


Background: retired manager at BellSouth and Telcordia, received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wesleyan College, master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University and doctorate degree in Counselor, Education and Supervision at Argosy, all after retirement, was licensed as a professional counselor in 2009, serves as the clinical director of Inner-Connect Counseling Services, and partners with Manna of Hope as primary licensed professional counselor She is also certified as an anger management specialist, a premarital/marital counselor and professional counselor supervisor. Passions: helping individuals make connections with the body, mind and spirit Role: Licensed Professional Counselor and President of the Board of Directors

 

Clarence Carner
Technology Specialist and Instructor

Background: Retired Military and Federal Department of Defense Employee. Over 50 years experience in Information Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Logistics Systems Management. Presently, a part time Information Technology Consultant with over 30 clients in the Middle Georgia Area. Passions: Promoting education for all mankind! Helping the young and the old to achieve their educational goals. Assisting especially the young, to be good citizens and to be respectful of their elders. Promoting good family values and Christianity among all brothers and sisters.Roles: Computer Literacy Instructor and Information Technology Consultant for Manna of Hope Resource Center for Females.

Sandra Diane Gilmore
Counselor


Background: retired nurse, received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wesleyan College, master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University and has experience as a licensed professional counselor with the state prison system, is in the process of opening her private practice in Dublin, GA. Passions: care-giving for those who are struggling with personal issues, counseling children, and teaching. Roles: Licensed Professional Counselor and member of the Advisory Committee

 

Vanessa Jones
Counselor

Background: retired Piggly Wiggly employee, received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wesleyan College, master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University, presently employed at Riveredge Behavioral Center as a substance abuse counselor. Certifications include Clinical Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, CAMS Certified Anger Management Specialist. Passions:
mentoring, teaching.

Tamiko Horne Williams

Background: over ten years in the mental health field, currently employed as the Director of Twiggs County Family Connection, working to improve the lives of children and their families, has volunteered as a counselor for Manna of Hope Resource Center, received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She is , a National Certified Licensed Professional Counselor.
Passions: To promote effective change within individuals, especially for children and youths, to give an outlet to their often unheard voices
